IgA Patients should Avoid Fruits & Vegetables with high potassium



One of the crucial functions of the kidneys is to maintain homeostasis, which means the body′s ability to adjust its internal environment in order to sustain life. Fruits that are rich in potassium include bananas, all citrus fruits, cantaloupe, figs, raspberries, strawberries, plums, kiwi, grapes, apricots, tomatoes and nuts.
Some dried fruits contain higher potassium levels than fresh, such as dried apricots, plums and prunes.
